Medusa is intended to be a speedy, massively parallel, modular, login brute-forcer. The goal is to support as many services which allow remote authentication as possible. The author considers following items as some of the key features of this application:<\/p>\n
Version 1.3 of Medusa is now available for public download.<\/strong><\/p>\n Medusa currently has modules supporting: CVS, FTP, HTTP, IMAP, MS-SQL, MySQL, NCP (NetWare), PcAnywhere, POP3, PostgreSQL, rexec, rlogin, rsh, SMB, SMTP (VRFY), SNMP, SSHv2, SVN, Telnet, VmAuthd, VNC, and a generic wrapper module.<\/p>\n While Medusa was designed to serve the same purpose as THC-Hydra<\/a>, there are several significant differences.
