FRHACK OS is an updated/modified version of the latest BackTrack 4 ISO with many updated tools and fixes.
This means it’s a fully fledged linux pen-testing/security environment.

I tried to download frhack-os.iso , but the certificate of the download site is invalid.
FrHack 01 is already over
you can get the download easily enough — just think it through. it doesn’t appear to be deliberate (a test), but in case it is, i won’t give away the answer here.
orlangur: I guess you’re using Firefox, just add an exception for the SSL cert and you can DL it fine.
What is the root password?
if its the same of backtrack: its the reverse of ”root” ”toor”
hi i downloaded the FRHACK and i installed on my pc j using UBIQUITY just like backtrack4 prefinal i setup user name and password just like you do in backtrack4 after finished installation could not log in is there any reason why i check my user name and password wrote them down but keep says login incorrect
I tried “toor” for the root pass but with no luck.

well it seems noone knows like i said before i installed a frhack on my laptop, could not log in i got it on usb it is running and does not need password or log in, or maybe it is not for installation anyone knows
when it boots to the bash prompt just type passwd and put your own in, it does not ask for the current pass to set root password..
its just a pain to do it EVERY time
no that passwd you can not use it untill login when you login then you can use it in shell command i am having problem log in , i installed it on my laptop and during installation it asked you to put user name and password so i did but now i can not log in even i try tty as user name and password someone said passowrd and root name is both tty but it wasn’t either seems only work on live cd or usb not for installation
