Ok well that's great, at least there's a couple of you interested in commenting.

That's enough for me, only needs 1 to win the prize.

It's up to the rest of you if you want to compete or not.

Perhaps we'll leave the submissions idea for later, we'll see if we can get this comments thing going first. Submissions as Bogwitch mentions have to be vetted so that might lead to problems with time constraints.

Don't worry if you think you're a noob, just chip in your 2 cents/pesos/euros/pennies/etc.

Download the tools and try them out.

Comment competition will start today, the new section on the right will keep track of monthly stats and who's ahead.

Irrelevant comments will be deleted.

Hi,
Generally, a good idea. I think Darknet could be a valuable resource. Currently, as I've commented before, the 'news' isn't so 'new'. I understand the pressures of time, etc. so maybe external submission of articles could be a way forward.

If you are going for submissions, I'd be interested to see some kind of framework (or a defined lack of framework) to set the boundaries of discussion - too many blogs/ BBs are full of repeated, irrelevant twaddle as to make them almost unreadable.

Of course, given that time is contrained, do YOU have the time to proofread/ edit submissions?

I'll watch this with interest!

I agree with Daniel. I come to Darknet almost everyday to get my news. I think the content quality is very high after looking around. I learned about this site from Pauldotcom and have stuck to it ever since. I dont dare to comment becuase I am pretty much a noob to ethical hacking.

Later,

Pete in Madrid
