  54. Gouki 22 June 2006 at 8:11 am Permalink

Since all the others won’t work:

Ping the site you want (i.e google.com). You’ll get the IP address of that site (if the site isn’t on a shared hosting enviroment, where one IP is used my various sites).

Go to DNSStuff.com and scrool down until you see the Decimal IPs box. Enter the IP of the site and convert it.

Try using that to access the site you want.

  73. ~the.exe.ecutioner~ 1 August 2006 at 6:53 pm Permalink

As much as a smart-ass it sounds you’re trying to be I gotta say that as long as you add this list specifically to your school and not a company (eg RM SafetyNet) you kinda deserve to be able to block it. You’re one of few admins that have 1st the intelligence and 2nd can be assed to do ‘research’ into this!

Guys, get a computer load apache, load mod perl load nph-proxy and put in a robots.txt file so you do not get indexed. Then KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT ABOUT IT, or someone will talk. Dont tell your best friend, dont tell your priest; if you want it to work for any length of time at all this is the most important thing! This will work for almost every site out there, except the ones that are streaming media like youtube. There are plenty of tutorials out there to tell you how to do all of this. Just copy down your IP address before you go to school, and put it in your browser with a /cgi-bin/nph-proxy.cgi at the end.

  87. taldier 4 September 2006 at 4:20 am Permalink

First of all if you find something that works don’t tell anyone, admins block things when they see that every kid in the school is trying to use the same website to get around the firewall. Now if your school has actually blocked every single one of the proxies posted, try translators. I used to go to blocked websites using babelfish, but if thats blocked just search for online webpage translators. Set it to translate from japenease or chinease or korean into English. Even though the page is in english originally this often gets around firewalls that block certain words. Use an asian or arabic language because they have a different character set. If this doesn’t work use the translator to get to a proxy. By the time I graduated I would have to go through 5 different translators and 2 proxys just to access a webpage under my login.

Also, if your admin is stupid you can get to some webpages using the secure version of the page if it has one. This means that instead of typing http://www.bla.com you type https://www.bla.com This only works on a few webpages however.

If any of the stuff above works for you always remember to delete the history and cookies before you log off, always restart the computer. Use Mozilla Firefox, IE sucks balls, every hacker on the net can see everything you do if your using IE, and not all system administrators were always upstanding members of society if you know what I mean.

If you have high speed internet at home you can also remote desktop from the school computers to your house. I dont wanna explain it hear just ask someone who knows about computers. This can also be used to play PC games at school, not just that crappy flash stuff.

If worse comes to worse you can always just use another username that has more access, like the administrator. You may not be able to get on as the network admin, but you can do pretty much anything as the admin of an individual computer. This is often overlooked by the school administrator. I remember the good old days in middle school when kids could hijack computers from the incompetant admin and make their own workgroups, hahaha.

I know this is getting kinda long, but if your not trying to get to a page thats blocked, but want to maybe do a few things that can’t be traced back to you, most schools have at least one general user name. It incredibly stupid, but admins often find it necessary to create user names for groups instead of individuals, especially for elementary students, or in certain labs. If you can get one of these passwords and you suddenly become entirely anonymus. If you want to store files on the network anonymously, create hidden password-protected folders deep in random network directorys. If this is all way over your head just ignore it and follow the instructions in the first paragraph.

If you get in trouble don’t blame me its your own stupid fault for doing what some guy on the internet told you to and being to stupid to cover your own tracks. Never use this information to harm a network or computer that you do not own, that is illegal.

MOST INPORTANTLY if you are at school while you are reading this you are an idiot, get off now and try to delete any history files and logs that you can before the system admin finds this site and uses it as a guide to protect his network like that other guy did.

Okay, well I rambled on and some of the stuff might not make sense, I tried to put in some kinda order. Hope this helps someone.

If you have questions contact me at taldier@gmail.com
I’m always willing to support fellow young hackers in their quest for information.

  90. JLR 6 September 2006 at 2:11 am Permalink

You kiss your mom with that mouth?

Look, plain and simple, schools have a responsibility and legal obligation to prevent access to certain materials. In addition, the school computer are for education, not for playing games or chatting. Is that so hard to understand? Do that other stuff at home.

  91. hotgal_69 6 September 2006 at 8:11 am Permalink

look jlr, its not just for games and chatting we use the internet at scholl for, imagine if youre told to do some research on a certain subject, and yet again its blocked, we cant do anything at school because everythings filtered, we all understand why they have to be blocked but theres a line, and you guys passed it along time ago, get over it and let us do what we want.

  92. hobot 6 September 2006 at 1:37 pm Permalink

hotgal you are an idiot plain and simple.
(Literally, ugly and stupid) JLR, if he is a school netadmin, as part of his job is obligated to block certain websitres by law if he is found negligent, he could be fired.

Let me ask you, what do you think he cares more about, your myspace, or his job?

If you were not a fucking idiot you could just set up a little cgi or php proxy and home and shut your godamn whore mouth, and no one would be the wiser.

  93. D-day 6 September 2006 at 7:49 pm Permalink

So dumbass what high school do you “NeT AdMiNiStRATE?

  94. D-day 6 September 2006 at 8:07 pm Permalink

No I got a better question how do you make these websites!

  95. taldier 7 September 2006 at 3:44 am Permalink

Hey, stop giving the admin a hard time he’s just doing his job. He has to make sure that none of those imature little minds of yours see any hardcore porn (until you get home). Plus if nothing were blocked, there would be no challenge in it. See this as a learning oppurtunity, temper your computer skills in an enviornment where you can’t really get in much trouble, and probably have some incompetant admin in control.

That being said, most schools are going overboard with there internet policy. At my high school some of the teacher’s personal websites that they used for homework and shit were blocked. The admin also disallowed the C: drive; which basically turned all the computers into terminals, and I believe they also had keyloggers. At one point google was blocked for a short period of time, but there were to many complaints from teachers. If you wanna know why it was blocked search for porn using the google image search after you turn off google’s filter (the schools filters dont block this unless the admin specifically sets it). Anyway, if kids cant check their homework, do basic research (such as homework for health class, hello its all blocked), and check their email for important messages, then the system has gone to far. If your school cant support the bandwidth for kids to go anywhere other than the school’s website, than you need a bigger tech budget (ask your boss for money, lol).

When it comes to computers there are basically two main groups of kids. The kids that can be stopped by the simplest security measures, and the geeks who you will never be able to stop from doing whatever they want. So for the network to run smoothly, you dont need to lock down the whole system, because the things smart kids will do to get around you might not be very good for your network. If you force nerds into a position where they have to rip apart your network to check their email, they will.

And seriously, how much harm is playing a few flash games on your network gonna do? If kids are smart enough to get through your security they are probably not stupid enough to load viruses on your system. Believe me its alot better to let people play some stupid flash games, than if they get desperate enough to copy actual PC games off of their USB drive to their network directory and start playing Call of Duty online. Now that will slow down a network (personal expeirience, there was a substitute english teacher that never realized why everyone in the class was so intent on their computers, lol).

Network admins won’t lose there jobs for using less security measures. As long as a simple filter is used to block out porn and stuff, the school administration will probably be happier if they dont see a screen that says blocked every time they try to go to a website. I know a lot of teachers that were annoyed when their favorite funny websites got blocked under the title “waste of time”.

So anyway, there will always be kids who can get around any security measure you can think up. No matter what you do there will always be those who are younger and smarter than you, however that knowledge is not tempered by experience. When you make immature impulsive high school kids hate you, you give them a reason to try to get you fired by shutting down your network.

P.S. Did anyone actually read my other long message? Did it help anyone? Are you all to stupid to get it? Remote desktop is probably the most promising, because there is no reason for it to be blocked, and a lot of admins like to use it to access computers around the school.

P.P.S. JLR, when I was in high school the admin blocked the word socialism, wtf is up with that? I have a feeling my ultra conservative principal had something to do with it. Is that illegal in some way?

hobot: If your not here to help, and your clearly smart enough to do whatever you want, why the hell are you here. Do you have a life? Or do you spend your time on the internet jacking off to gay porn while you search for those below your clearly massive intellect to insult?

D-day, you might want to take a good look at these kind of sites before you recommend them. The allaboutabe.com proxy will STEAL YOUR MYSPACE account!

Read the terms of service here: http://allaboutabe.com/history/tos.html

“Allaboutabe.com logs all myspace account logins. We WILL use your account to advertise. By logging into your myspace account through this service you forfeit your rights to it and make allaboutabe.com and its subsidiaries the sole owners of the account.

Regardless of your need to get around the proxy at your school, you should understand that these proxy sites can record everything that passes through them, including your logins and passwords. Not every proxy has your best interest in mind!

try installing firefox onto a flash drive then running it on the computers at your school, work place or uni.

normally does the job if this dosnt work try changing the proxy settings or looking for a open port on the network

always worked %100 for me at college

The comments on here definatly prove why you are the kids and we are the adults.

There are a few other tricks up my sleve, but why spoil the fun? :D

  129. Steve 6 October 2006 at 12:40 pm Permalink

Anyone else find it funny how the “admins” are pointing out the immaturities of the “kids” here, yet they are the ones posting for the sole purpose of spite?

Seriously. If you’re an admin, and an adult, surely you don’t see the need to “rub it in”.

If you “adults” (yes, for the record, I am one myself) had any sense in you, you would STOP posting things like that in this topic so that these “kids” would KEEP posting their anonymizer sites and continue to hand-feed you something that would otherwise cause you to spend alot of time researching.

Admins are a bunch of c**ts, They have blocked everything on my uni net cept for anything on port 80. All i want to do is play CS:S you w**kers.

O yeh and btw kiddies if you cant find a single site that will allow you to watch porn or go onto myspace you are pretty damn dumb, theres millions of them out there but i aint going o post any for you :P

  131. nuros4000 8 October 2006 at 7:30 pm Permalink

    the best thing to do is this;
type “cgi proxy”(without the quotes) in to google, and choose the second item on the list( cant remember url).
it contains a list of thousands of proxys to choose from.
good thing is they cant block them all.

also to whoever admin is, you cant stop them forever, we always win.

Wow, all these website and how can you? JEWS

  139. archer 19 October 2006 at 5:34 pm Permalink

Here’s a radical thought for anyone at school trying to get around a firewall:

You’re not there to check your Myspace account (Myspace and it’s ilk should be wiped off the Internet as far as I’m concerned).

You’re not there to play games online.

You’re not there to check your personal e-mail accounts.

You’re in school to LEARN. Go ahead and read it again. Maybe it’ll sink in, if you read it enough. Maybe you’ll learn how to spell words like “You”, “are”, and “before”. I learned those thing by 1st grade.

You’re lucky to be able to view sites like this at all. Keep abusing it and you’ll find yourselves on the receiving end of a “Block all sites but these” list.

Maybe if you spent half as much time paying attention to what you are supposed to be doing as you do to trying to circumvent security, you wouldn’t be “so bored”.

    Have a nice day.

  142. archer 20 October 2006 at 3:22 pm Permalink

No, Dumbass-Day, I’m sick and tired of kids whining about how bored they are in school.

If you don’t like it, try leaving school sometime. See how far you get in life without at least a high school education. Maybe then you’ll realize how right those trying to shape your sorry, bored asses into decent people were. You take for granted that which you have, and never give a second thought to what it would be like without. Maybe if your parents would have instilled a few basic values in you, or is it if you would have listened to them, you would realize why you’re in school. Like I said, it isn’t to chat on your cell phone, browse the Internet, check your fucking MindlessSpace account, and all the other shit you’d rather be doing. You’ll have plenty of time for that after you graduate, get some more education so as to have an actual career (outside of fast food, which you seem to have a head start on), and start working in the real world.
